Ms Dlungwana is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive valuable experience in the Health and Mining sectors. Notably, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Busamed (Pty) Ltd from its inception in 2015, leading the Finance team in formulating accounting policies and procedures and laying a foundation to drive the commercial objectives of the business. She has a B Cur Degree in Nursing Science (Medunsa), in addition, has worked as a chief professional nurse in the Oncology Unit for 8 years.
Dr Ernest Kenoshi‚ is the former CEO of the Steve Biko Academic Hospital‚ and former acting Head of Department for the Gauteng Department of Health. Dr Kenoshi a medical doctor, holds a Masters in Public Health from Wits University and several Health Management qualifications. He has previously worked as a Senior Superintendent and Principal Medical officer in various hospitals’ in Gauteng and North West Province, as well as serving on several Ministerial Task Teams and projects. Dr Kenoshi is the former Hospital Manager for Naledi Nkanyezi Hospital and is now Clinix Health Group Chief Operations Officer.

Dr Matseke, affectionately as “KOP”, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd, a fully empowered healthcare group which has been in operation for more than 20 years. He is a medical doctor by profession, an astute and versatile professional offering a rich mixture of experience and success in the South African business sphere. He has extensive hands-on experience with hospital development from project management, commissioning, general management, staff training and development.
Dr Matseke has a proven track record of success in business start-ups, growing these into fully-fledged cash-generating entities and in the process creating employment opportunities for thousands of people from all walks of life.
A seasoned executive leader with extensive hands-on experience in financial management, business leadership and working with boards of directors and external stakeholders. He was previously chairman of the Accounting Practices Board (a committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) and a member of the Standards Advisory Council of the International Accounting Standards Board. He has also served as president of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa. Mr Kgosana was recently appointed to the board of Famous Brands Limited.
He has experience in internal and external audit, financial management and administration, as well as business and management consultancy. He has extensive industry credentials based on his experience in various industries, including power and utilities, banking, telecommunications, consumer markets and airlines. He is the currently a Non-Executive Director, and Chairman of the Audit and Risk of the Clinix Health Group (PTY) Ltd.
Mr Mokoena holds an Honours degree in B.Com Accounting from the University of South Africa. Mr Mokoena began his career within the labour movement in 1989 when he was appointed Assistant National Accountant for the Congress of South African Trade Unions. In 1991 he joined the National Education Co-ordinating Committee where he held the post of National Accountant and later moved to the auditing firm, Douglas and Velcich (CA) S.A.
In 1994 he joined the Johannesburg City Council as an Internal Auditor. He was later seconded to the Gauteng Department of Housing and Local Government where he served on the Strategic Management Team. A year later he was appointed as the Housing and Local Government’s Department’s Director of Strategic Management from April 1995 to June 1996. He was appointed as the Strategic Executive for Finance at The Greater Johannesburg Northern Metropolitan Council in July 1996. In April 1998 he moved to the Province as head of the Gauteng Department of Housing and Land Affairs.
In October 2000 he was appointed to the post of Director-General for the Gauteng Provincial Government – a post he held until the end of his second term in September 2008. In March 2009 he joined African Access Holdings (PTY) Ltd as its Group Managing Director. He is currently serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Clinix Health Group Board (PTY) Ltd.

Dr. Motlana holds an MBBch from the University of the Witwatersrand and a MMed in Psychiatry from the University of Pretoria. Dr. Motlana was Clinical Head at Tara Hospital, one of the foremost psychiatric institutions in the country before leaving medicine to pursue a second career in business. She retains the position of an Honorary Consultant at the Outpatient Eating Disorder Unit at Tara Hospital and is involved in research at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is a member of the Hospital Board at Tara Hospital.
She is the founding director of Psychiatry M Powered, a PBO that seeks to counter the stigmatisation of mental illness through psycho-education. This work has led her to make regular appearances on television, radio and print media. She is also a founding director of the Dr. Nthato Motlana Foundation. Dr. Motlana was appointed to the Clinix Health Group board in 2008 and she also sits on the boards of several companies and organisations.
Karl-Heinz Kolz is an experienced board member and a seasoned senior executive with over twenty years of experience as a sustainable financier in manufacturing, infrastructure and financial service industries. His professional experience spans for almost 30 years serving in different portfolios that saw him working in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Business Administration from Universities in Germany.
Dr. Ayanda Ntsaluba is an Executive Director of Discovery Holdings. Discovery Limited is an integrated financial services organisation operating with clients in South Africa, United Kingdom, United States of America, and the People’s Republic of China. Its products include health insurance, life assurance, short term insurance, savings, investment and wellness products.
He holds a medical degree from the University of Natal, specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the University of London, and an Executive MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
Before joining Discovery he served as a Deputy Director-General for Policy and Planning in the National Department of Health from 1995-1998 and as Director-General of Health in South Africa from September 1998 to August 2003. In September 2003, Dr. Ntsaluba was appointed Director-General of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa – a task he performed until March 2011.
He currently also serves as a non – executive board member of South African Tourism, a member of The Lancet – University Oslo Commission on Global Governance for health in collaboration with Harvard Global Health Institute, a member of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on the Institute for Leadership and Management in Health as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the South African National Aids Trust.
