Clinix partnership with Gauteng Department of Transport
In an effort to bring our brand purpose of helping communities to live longer healthier lives to life, Clinix Health Group established a partnership with the Gauteng Department of Transport led by the Honorable MEC, Jacob Mamabolo, to complement the Department’s ongoing efforts of protecting the wellbeing of bus and taxi commuters across Gauteng. As part of this partnership Clinix has provided 6000 litres of hand sanitisers and 3000 pairs of gloves to be dispensed at taxi ranks in Gauteng. Taxi ranks have been identified as key to fight against the COVID-19 virus particularly since millions of people use this mode of transport daily.
Furthermore, Clinix has provided COVID-19 training to the points-men and women that have been supplied by Outsurance and will be used by GDT to assist taxi operators with administering preventative measures at taxi ranks.

Clinix’s support to national efforts to fight COVID-19 is in line with its brand ethos, developed and nurtured during its three (3) decades of service to communities. Clinix is creating an awareness with relevant information about the COVID-19 in the communities that we operate in.
In an effort to assist and support essential workers during this time, sanitisers and educational material (COVID-19 posters) were distributed to different SAPS within the areas where our communities are based. The areas include, Vereeniging, Soweto, Central Johannesburg, and Vosloorus.
